Traditional Navajo Pitch Pots by ETTA ROCK
Aug 4, 2011
ETTA ROCK
Etta lives in the Four Corners are of Utah near world famous Monument Valley. She is the sweetest little lady you could ever meet. She speaks barely enough English to name a price for her authentic Navajo Pitch Pots. As far as we know Etta is the only person left who knows and practices this ancient Native American craft.
She seems to be ageless. When I met her about 25 years ago I thought she must be about 75 or 80. She is still the same age today.
